What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is the conscious manipulation of your breath for a desired purpose. In short, you inhale and exhale in a specific way to get a certain result (stress relief, relaxation, emotional release, clarity, etc.)
Why do people do it?
The list of benefits that you may experience from breathwork is extensive, but some of the most common reasons people learn breathwork techniques are for stress reduction, improved sleep quality, emotional release, clarity, and access to the subconscious.
Is it safe?
The short answer is yes! However, there are many different breathwork techniques, and some techniques are not advisable for people with certain medical conditions. Be sure to read the event description prior to participating.
